Booking in your child...
At Sweet Pea we believe the booking process is key to ensuring parents are given the correct detailed information right from the start maintaining reassurance and confidence from the word go.
Initially we invite all prospective parents to come and view the nursery facilities. This can be arranged by telephone or email at a convenient time for you.
Following a show around we will send across all the relevant documentation you will need to register a place at either setting.
Another appointment will then be made for you to come in and complete the registration process. This includes completing a Registration form, Contract and you will receive a confirmation letter.
At both settings we ask for a £50 non refundable deposit to secure your place and a week’s float (An invoice will be sent by email during the registration process) which will be deducted from your final payment. Fees are calculated by calculating the weekly charge, multiplying this by 52 (the number of weeks in the year) and dividing by 12 (the number of months in the year).We are closed for one week between Christmas and the New Year, bank holidays are chargeable.
Invoices are sent around the 14th of every month and we ask for this payment to be cleared by the 1st of the following month (in advance).
Sweet Pea Daycare and Sweet Pea Heath offer three initial settling in sessions.
Session 1: You are welcome to join us for 1 hour where we ask you to stay with your child where a member of staff will discuss your child’s requirements and complete a settling in form. Other forms such as permission and confidential will be issued for you to take home, complete and return on your next settling in session.
Session 2: We ask you to drop your child off and leave them with us for 1 hour.
Session 3: Again we ask you to drop your child off and leave them for 3 hours so they can get familiar with the nursery routine. We normally advise this from 10am till 1pm where they can enjoy socialising with their new friends whilst having dinner.
We then look forward to seeing you on your child’s first day at Sweet Pea nursery!
